In acccordance with Government guidelines and advice, extra measures are in place to ensure the health & safety of Guests and Staff. Distancing, increased cleaning and sanitizing are being done, without interupting the enjoyment of your stay at The Gables B&B. "Step Back in Time" at this Historic Home built in 1875 was known as the Patterson House after Dr John Patterson and his Wife Mildred. Brimming with Antique Furnishings, original woodwork, flooring and Stained Glass Windows. Enjoy playing the old Piano or sit by the 2 Fireplaces. Our cat Simon may stop by for an ear-rub. All 3 Guests Rooms have ensuite Bathrooms, Fridge, TV, AC and great views of the property. Stroll the Gardens which have something in bloom all Season Long. The Outdoor Hot Tub welcomes tired Hikers and Skiers with its soothing jets. A Snack & Beverage Bar is avaible 24/7 in our Pub featuring Lois's Homemade Biscotti!!
We welcome your stay at The Gables B&B, Historic Century Home with vintage ambiance. Simon, our Cat will likely greet you or show up for an ear-rub. Our charming Century Home B&B is located in the quaint Town of Stayner. Leave your car and enjoy a short stroll to Shops and Restaurants. Explore unique Ladies' wear shops, Antiques and handmade Chocolates. We offer 2 bycicles to enjoy the local routes through Town, or bike the Georgian Trail through the countryside. Stayner is close to Wasaga Beach, Creemore, Collingwood and local attractions such as the Scandinave Spa, Creemore Springs Brewery, Bruce Trail...attractions too many to mention. After your hearty breakfast, take your coffee outside to see our lovely Gardens, Mulberry and Apple trees. Guests enjoy a glass of wine in our Outdoor Hot Tub or inside infront of the Fireplace after a busy day of Hiking, Biking or Sightseeing. We have a binder of local Restaurant Menues...it will be a difficult decision where to dine given the many options within a walk or a short drive. Come see what our Region has to offer!
