Everything was great. Yes, it is small but for a short stay it is more than enough and plenty comfortable. Transit reaches it quite easily. Less than 1 hour away from downtown

The Room was spacious and you had everything you needed. Fridge, Towels, kitchenette and the hot tub was ready to use at any time.

I loved the privacy. Once off the main street it feels peaceful. The place was clean. The bed was comfy. There is great tacos just across the street. The place was nice and cool. Really relaxing for when we weren't off at events. I did enjoy myself.

It was very clean and organized. We appreciated the binder with restaurants menus. Great place for the money spent. Would definitely stay there again!

The hot tub was wonderful, the bed was very comfortable and the blackout curtains were a nice touch. The owner did stop by and give us more towels without us asking too. The space definitely on the smaller side, but was perfect for just us 2.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Equally ideal as a couple's hideaway and as a cheap alternative for a solo traveler. It is 'basic', but the quality of the 'basic' provisions are superb. I didn't get a chance to use the hot tub, but the room...

Sweet little getaway. Very comfortable and warm. The bed is cozy and really enjoyed the Jacuzzi. Giving cabin out in the woods vibes and yet your in the city. Great for couples or singles. It was private and close to amenities.

This charming pied-a-tier at the back of the house comes complete with deck, hot tub and verdant garden. The backyard is your private sanctuary in midst of a city. It's the perfect place to bond with that special someone. The hot tub is kept immaculately clean. The bed is comfy, clean sheets and towels, blackout blinds for sleeping-in. It's a cosy place to lie in bed and watch the smart-TV, with regular channels, Youtube, Netflex. The Wifi is strong! If you have a zoom meeting, no worries. It's a self-contained unit, private bathroom. In the kitchenette you'll find a small fridge with bottled water. There is also a microwave, toaster, coffee maker and coffee (the best coffee shop in the whole city is right on corner). There's space to hang up your clothes, where you'll find an extra blanket, iron and ironing board. The air conditioning and heating is well regulated. There is also an auxiliary fan in the summer and oil-base heater in the winter to further regulate the temperature to your desire... This isn't just a place to stay. It's an experience you'll never forget.
My wife and I run a workout studio in the other part of the house. I'm a personal trainer and fitness instructor. I do mostly one-on-one personal training. I also teach 3 classes a week in non-pandemic times. The guests are welcome to join the classes (yoga, weight-lifting, Abs), or try a personal training session if they like. There's no pressure if you want to keep to yourselves. But the opportunity is there to be a little social too. All you have to do is leave the back, and walk around to the front of the house, where you'll find the entrance to Studio 2388. Come join our eclectic group of neighbourhood people getting together for some exercise, and some fun... I'm never far if you lock yourself out, or need something, or simply want to know where the best patios and restaurants are.
I think this is one of the most interesting neighbourhood in the city. But I might be biased. It may take a little while to get to know the best places. We're walking distance from The Junction. Where there is a plethora of patios, bars, restaurants, shops, bakeries, gyms, lcbo, Starbuck's and other coffee shops galore, churches, tatoo parlours, spas, you name it. It boasts a great club I hope still exists after all the lockdowns are over. The Junction is known for its hidden gems in terms of cousine. Amazing options to eat everywhere. Just ask me. The Runnymede subway is a 5-minute bus ride away. Here you will find The Bloor Village. It is a wonderful part of the city to explore. Great places to shop for every taste and budget. Nearby is High Park. Which is well worth visiting. You're only a short drive or subway ride to downtown. You're close to everything.
