Wolfwood is a family run guest ranch and wilderness school. Born and raised in BC, we have explored this province extensively and are so pleased to have found the perfect home in Wells Gray Park for raising our family. All of us have a background in tourism and love meeting people from all over the world. Wolfwood Guest Ranch gives us the opportunity to get away from it all and share our pioneer lifestyle with our guests while enjoying the unspoiled beauty of Wells Gray Park. English, Spanish and German are spoken. Through our onsite wilderness school we also offer classes in survival, pioneer and homesteading skills and wilderness experiences. Join us for a wild edibles nature walk, or take one of our other wilderness / pioneer & homesteading classes available on site. Stay and enjoy the peace and quiet at our 160 acre ranch in the pristine wilderness of Wells Gray Park. You will find countless opportunities for wildlife viewing, local animals include moose, bears, wolves, coyote, and beavers to name a few. Take a walk along one of the trails by our creek to see some of the beaver dams or join a nature walk and learn about the local flora and fauna. We have a private lake where you can take your morning coffee, sit, relax and enjoy the sunrise with only the sounds of the birds to start your day. We offer a heritage log cabins B&B experience. We have a breakfast room and lounge area available for relaxing and socializing after a busy day in the park with games, cards, wifi and satellite tv. Spend a peaceful evening watching the flames dance at our outdoor fire pit by the creek, maybe even toast a marshmallow. Our cabins do not have cooking facilities. On Site Activities A small private lake with a sitting area and a walking trail. Boats for use including a canoe and kayaks with life jackets provided. A fire pit by the creek with a sitting area, great for a relaxing evening.

Wells Gray Park Spend your time discovering beautiful Wells Gray Park with 39 named waterfalls including the famous and spectacular Helmken Falls, 5 rivers and so many lakes! Enjoy the countless hiking trails and historical sites such as Ray Farm, mineral springs and the bee farm; see where the pioneers set up their homesteads. Hike the Trophy Mountains and see the meadows full of wild flowers. Take a horseback ride through the mountains and enjoy the view from the top. Clearwater Lake has many opportunities for canoeing and kayaking as well as swimming. There are many winter activities too including cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. With so many options it can be difficult to choose your activities, please just ask and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have or assist with tour bookings.
