Our "Bijou Lake Side Terrace", furnished with a lot of love♥ and equipped to property standard with a unique view of the beautiful Lake Thun, offers you the perfect vacation experience for relaxing or exploring the region. Experience the Bernese Oberland at its best! You'll find everything you need for a relaxing stay in our small but exquisite 1.5-room feel-good bijou. We recommend the Bijou for max. 2 adults and short stays (max. 4 nights), as space is limited. The renovated apartment consists of a small bedroom, a kitchen, a small living area and a modern bathroom/WC with rain shower. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed (160x210). On request, the sofa bed in the living room can be converted into another double bed. The kitchen is equipped with a Quooker, which provides boiling water in seconds. A parking space for one vehicle is available. The apartment is located on the first floor of an apartment building in an elevated, terraced hillside location and is therefore only accessible via a few external stairs. There is no washing machine/dryer and no luggage drop off. Our listings are available on Airbnb - there you will find lower prices for our vacation rentals. :) Important information: The apartment must be left as you found it. Please leave our things in the apartment as they are. Large soiling of furniture, bed linen and general inventory will be charged additionally. Please note that the outstanding visitor's tax must be paid via Stripe-Link before arrival. We will send you the link separately.

The small village of Leissigen lies on the shores of Lake Thun, between Interlaken and Spiez, at the foot of the Morgenberghorn. It is famous for its spectacular sunsets over the lake, especially from the Ferdinand Hodler Memorial. At 575m above sea level, Leissigen borders on Därligen, Saxeten, Aeschi bei Spiez and Krattigen. Its central location makes it the ideal starting point for a vacation in the Bernese Oberland. In summer, the lido invites you to cool off in Lake Thun. The panoramic bridge at Leissigen offers a magnificent view from 60 meters. Opposite is the Niederhorn with Beatenberg, from where you can enjoy a unique panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The St. Beatus Caves with their stalactite formations are also worth a visit.
