From Mascengo, you can set off on scenic trails, including several routes that lead through the stunning Tremorgio Lake region. Casa Dorino isn’t just a holiday home—it’s part of our family’s story. Originally the home of our great-grandparents Isidoro and Ottilia, this house has been in our family for generations. Our grandfather Frank returned to Prato Leventina in 1907, and together with our grandmother Mariette, they raised seven children here—including our father Ugo. In 2019, we—Rosa, Francesco, Massimo, and Michela—renovated Casa Dorino with love. Now, we’re happy to share it with guests who want to experience the peace, nature, and beauty of this special place. What You’ll Enjoy - The entire house is yours—no shared spaces, just privacy and comfort. - A large garden surrounds the house, perfect for relaxing or letting the kids run and play. There’s even a trampoline for extra fun! - After a day of exploring the mountains, unwind in your private sauna (up to 2 hours/day for an extra 40 CHF / EUR, paid at check-out). - The terrace offers amazing views of the San Giorgio Church and the nearby peaks—Pizzo Sole and Pizzo Molare. - Free private parking is available right in front of the house. Other things to note Coffee and tea: Casa Dorino offers free coffee, tea, olive oil, salt and pepper. You will find them in the kitchen.
