Looking for a peaceful retreat in the heart of the Valais Alps? Our family chalet, fully equipped and lovingly designed, is perfect for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It has been arranged with care for our own family, combining warmth and convenience. For cooking enthusiasts, you’ll find everything you need to prepare delicious meals. The chalet includes: - 4 bedrooms: - 2 with double beds. - 2 with single beds. - An open mezzanine with a convertible sofa bed (not shielded from daylight). - An open-plan kitchen leading into a spacious and cozy living/dining area. Comfort and amenities: - Heating via a heat pump. - A Swedish stove for cozy evenings (firewood not provided). - 2 shower rooms, 1 bathroom, and a laundry room equipped with a washing machine and dryer, which can also be used for ski storage (we personally prefer to leave our skis in the car's roof box and bring only our ski boots into the chalet). - Bed linen and towels are provided and placed in each room, so you can choose the room(s) you prefer upon arrival. Connectivity and outdoor space: - High-speed WiFi, ideal for remote work. - 2 terraces with panoramic views of the mountains. - A balcony accessible from one of the upstairs bedrooms and the mezzanine. Parking: - 4 private, free parking spaces (3 in winter), uncovered. Accessibility: The chalet has two staircases: - An exterior staircase leads to the main entrance. - An interior staircase connects to the 3 upstairs bedrooms. Built in 2011 and purchased by our family in 2021, this chalet is our haven, whether in summer or winter, for remote work, family vacations, or getaways with friends. Each time we return, we feel grateful for the privilege of enjoying this special place. That’s why we’ve chosen to share it by offering it for rent, so that others can experience its charm while helping us to maintain and continuously improve it.

Located in a charming hamlet of recently built chalets, our chalet offers an ideal setting for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. It serves as a perfect starting point for numerous hikes, including the scenic trail to discover Ardève. Just a 10-minute drive away, the heart of Ovronnaz awaits, offering additional hiking trails, a chairlift for alpine adventures, and its famous thermal baths for a relaxing escape. In winter, a wide range of activities is available: alpine skiing, ski touring, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Down in the valley, you can unwind at the Saillon thermal baths or explore the charming historic town of Sion. Other renowned ski resorts, such as Anzère and Nendaz, are also less than an hour’s drive away. Please note that there is no spa or wellness area directly in the chalet, but these are available at the Ovronnaz and Saillon thermal baths. The hamlet is distinguished by its peace and serenity, making it a perfect retreat for restful stays in any season. Accessible year-round, it is worth noting that in winter, despite regular snow clearing by a professional service, the use of snow chains is highly recommended (and may be essential) for the final 50 meters of the sloped road leading to the chalet. Perched on the slopes of the Ardève mountain, the chalet boasts an exceptional setting. While there is no direct sunlight on the chalet itself between mid-December and late February, the panoramic mountain views remain beautifully illuminated, offering breathtaking scenery. To fully enjoy this peaceful haven, be sure to plan your groceries in advance, especially bread for breakfast, and savor every moment in this enchanting retreat!
