We’re a Swiss-Australian family living right here in Vitznau — and our household language is a fun mix of English and Swiss German (we call it Swinglish). Philipp is originally from Vitznau and Karen moved here from Australia in 2003. Together we have twin daughters, Alessandra and Maliyah, who love meeting new people from all over the world. You might also spot (or hear!) our two rescue dogs — Milla, who prefers to keep a low profile, and Ossi, who’s a little more curious! As a family who loves to travel, we know how important it is to feel comfortable and welcome while away from home. That’s why we created Chalet Oz — a space where guests can relax, connect with nature, and experience a more personal side of Switzerland. We live just next door and are happy to help with tips, recommendations, or anything you need during your stay — or we’re equally happy to give you space to simply unwind.
