The "Corte delle Camelie" is a first renovation project of two buildings dating from the year 1400. Presumably belonging to an old adjacent convent, the properties have been used as a residence until 1950 by the Gilardi family. Purchased in 2011 after the death of the last descendant of the family, the buildings have been restored. The architectural project is based on the objective of preserving the techniques and materials of the past, adding an additional modern building, capable of accommodating the bathrooms and all the technical installations. On the external facade, the building houses a painting of a Madonna with baby Jesus and two saints, wich inserts the property in the list of cultural goods to be protected by the government of the Canton Ticino.

I participate as a shareholder in several companies and I'm personally engaged in institutional, political and cultural interest groups. The "Corte delle Camelie" is a project that I manage with my family in a wonderful place, with a lot of passion, enthusiasm and pleasure to offer maximum comfort to our guests.

The public beach is just 300 meters away, and in the vicinity of our apartments you will find the tennis courts with a stunning view on Lake Maggiore, Locarno and Ascona. Attached to the structure of the "Corte delle Camelie" will find the Restaurant "Sargenti", great for breakfast and appetizers, as well as to eat simple meals, as an alternative to the excellent gourmet restaurant "Rodolfo" which is only 50 metres away. In just 20 minutes you are in Locarno, if you decide to travel by car, but you also have the chance to take the boat to Magadino, and enjoy a ride on Lake Maggiore, and continue until Ascona, or Brissago with its islands, a paradise full of greenery and flowers. In half an hour you are also in Bellinzona, the capital of Ticino with its castles, now a UNESCO heritage site.
