The house is located on a preferred hillside location. In 15 minutes a steep footpath leads directly to Gunten and the lake. The property enjoys all-day sunlight. Enjoy the peace and nature from your 2 balconies and relax in the cozy, rustic apartment with creaky wooden floors. The apartment is ideally located as a starting point for countless hikes and other excursions into the beautiful nature here and around Lake Thun. You enjoy a wonderful, unobstructed view of the lake and the mountains. The accommodation is on the first floor. It has a bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and another bedroom with a bunk bed and 2 mattresses. (90x200 + 90x180). New bed linen and covers. The living room has a sofa and a comfortable armchair. The large south-facing balcony has a small table and 4 chairs. There is also another small balcony where you can enjoy your morning sun. IN THE COLD MONTHS: The accommodation is heated with electric and infrared heaters. There is an additional radiator in the bathroom. On request, a fire in the Swedish stove is possible for an additional charge. Please no self-service when it comes to wood. The kitchen is fully equipped. Dining table for 4 people. Spices, vinegar and oil available. Fondue set and raclette available. ENJOY YOUR MORNING COFFEE WITH YOUR ESPRESSO MACHINE. Coffee, sugar and tea available. The refrigerator does not have a freezing function, let us know if you need to freeze anything. The bathroom is functionally furnished and renovated. The shower is rather small! Hairdryer available. The apartment is not wheelchair accessible. It has a simple but charming standard of construction. PLEASE DO NOT SIT ON THE BALCONY RAILING! You live in the same house as the landlord, please note the private rooms and quiet times. PLEASE NO PETS IN BEDS OR SOFA🙏

Aeschlen ob Gunten is located at 769m above sea level and belongs to the municipality of Sigriswil. It is a quiet, pretty little village located on the sunny side of Lake Thun. You live just a 5-10 minute walk from the spectacular Sigriswil panoramic bridge with a magnificent view of the famous Bernese Oberland giants Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as well as Lake Thun. In Sigriswil there are various shops and a few restaurants and there are express buses to Thun and back. Aeschlen is also served by the STI bus number 24 from Oberhofen. (Until 7:30 p.m.) The apartment is ideally located as a starting point for countless hikes and other excursions into the beautiful nature here and around Lake Thun. You enjoy a wonderful, unobstructed view of the lake and the mountains. You can reach the post bus station in 5 minutes on foot. 30 minutes to Thun train station. By car you can reach Interlaken in 30 minutes and Thun in 15 minutes.
