YOU CANT REACH WENGEN BY CAR. The apartment is located right in the center of town of Wengen (and is not located in Lauterbrunnen). It is a few minutes walk away from the ski, hiking trails, nature, shops, restaurants, sightseeing (easy access to must see places like Jungfraujoch, Interlaken etc... ). Traditionally it is a quiet,clean and extremely secure neighbourhood. Everything is within walking distance and very convenient to walk around. As a reminder, Wengen is only accessible by train so your car would need to be parked in Lauterbrunnen. There is no road access to Wengen and is only accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen. You must leave your car in Lauterbrunnen. The first exit on the left after the “Lauterbrunnen” sign will take you to the multi storey car park which is linked to the train station.

TOP OF EUROPE - JUNGFRAU - It is very easy to go to Jungfrau/Top of Europe from my home. Wengen is the closest village to that mountain and it is the fastest route. You just need to step in the train in Wengen and it takes you there. Once a booking is confirmed, I will send you an in depth guide about the Jungfrau. LOCATION / GETTING TO MY HOME IN “WENGEN” - My home is located in a peaceful pedestrian town called Wengen. It is not located in Lauterbrunnen but it is very near. Wengen is an authentic swiss village located in the mountain with spectacular views. It attracts nature lovers and people who want to get away of it all and live stress free for a few days. - From Interlaken Ost/West train station, it takes about 45 minutes by train to arrive to Wengen train station. - From Lauterbrunnen train station, it takes about 15 minutes to reach Wengen. - It is easy to travel anywhere in the region and the best is to buy an all-you-can ride swiss railway pass or a Jungfrau region VIP transportation pass. - Usually, the last train from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen is at 2.40 AM but best is to always check with the swiss railways.
