The spacious duplex/maisonette apartment of the antique Villa Rocchetta, has been newly renovated with great attention to detail, selected natural building materials. On the large terrace, or the other 3 small balconies, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Lake Lugano. If you are free from vertigo and a bit brave, you can admire the panoramic view over Malcantone all the way to Italy from the tower, which is part of the flat. The duplex/maisonette apartment can accommodate 4 to maximum 5 persons on 93 m2. 
On the 2nd floor there is the classy entrance area with sofa (optional 5th sleeping place, separable with screen) and access to the large terrace (33 m2) with garden view, a closed, fully equipped kitchen-living room with oven and dishwasher, large table, Swedish stove, a balcony with lake view and access to the terrace and a comfortably furnished bathroom with bathtub and bidet. On the 3rd floor you will find the living room with a comfortable sofa, a pivoting TV, desk and a cozy sleeping area with a double bed for 1-2 people. At the back of the floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, closed off by opaque glass windows and a unique panorama of Lake Lugano. The laundry room (located outside the apartment) can be shared free of charge upon request. An uncovered parking place directly at the house can be used free of charge. The surrounding area offers numerous idyllic garden seating areas to linger and enjoy. This includes, for example, a pergola and a fire bowl. Villa Rocchetta is located above the village on the Swiss side of Ponte Tresa. The Italian part of the village of Ponte Tresa can be reached in 10 minutes by foot (600m) and offers various shopping facilities, restaurants, bars and a weekly market on Saturdays. In the opposite direction is the village of Caslano which is one stop by train or 5 minutes by car. There is a Migros at Caslano station and a Coop further down the village. You can also rent bicycles at the station. There are restaurants and ice cream shops in the old part of the village by the lake. A walk to the top of Monte Caslano is also recommended.
