Tai'inu Bungalows is a small, private, garden-view property located within 100m of the beach in the village of Amuri. The beach here is beautiful and you can see several hundred meters ahead as it curves off into the distance. In the back you have the beautiful view of our highest peak, Maunga Pu with its layered cliff-face. But it's not just the view, there are also a few eateries and activities within walking 10 mins walking distance including swimming, snorkeling and hiking the nearby trails. We want our guests make the most of their stay in Aitutaki so we readily help out with rental vehicle arrangements and many recommendations. We also offer our very own private lagoon tour where guests can enjoy a day out visiting some of the islands in the lagoon, swimming, snorkeling, feeding the giant trevally and spotting the giant clams and turtles.

At Tai'inu Bungalows we aim to reflect the genuine hospitality and care that the Cook Islands are known for. We greet our guests personally at the airport where we escort them to their bungalow and even take them for a quick tour of the town, giving them helpful tips and information along the way. We endeavor to make their stay in Aitutaki a memorable one and are happy to help in making arrangements for rental vehicles, lagoon tours and many dining recommendations. We are always there when needed but respect our guests' need for privacy.

The property itself is quite private and near the beach. Although most of Aitutaki's shoreline is a bit too shallow for swimming, we are located within 700m of popular swimming / snorkeling spots such as the Base One Public Beach and Picnic Area and the swimming hole in front of Tai Marino. For dining options, we have a few eateries within 10 mins walk such as The Cecil Hut and the rustic Paradise Cove Bar. Besides the beach, we're also within walking distance of the hiking trails to Maunga Pu, our highest summit at 124m and the Piraki Lookout.
