Kahina Lodge is located in the main avenue of the island. It’s close to grocery shops,restaurants,tour agencies, banks, beaches… Each room is big with a private bathroom and has it’s own private acces. We offer the transfer from and to the airport, we need you to confirm your flight number and date before your arrival. Otherwise you will need to come alone walking (10min) or with a taxi (5min). We also offer you a flower lei and welcome drinks with fresh juice depending on the season. Kahina Lodge has a shared kitchen fully equipped with fridge microwave toaster plates and everything you need to prepare your own meals and save money. You can also use the washing machine for FREE, but you will need to buy your own detergent and be sure the laundry is out of the machine before you go out. You can use the terrace to eat, or you can use the dining room if it’s raining or cold, there you will find a TV with cable channels and use the Wifi wich is not really good in the whole island, but still works.

Yarela is my bestie, she lives on the island and she will be the one welcoming you to Kahina Lodge. She will help you with any information needed about your stay with us and on the island, so you can relax and enjoy without any worries. Im Abby the owner, we will for sure talk a lot online before you get there, to help you prepare your arrival and answer all of the questions you’ll have. Unfortunately i left the island, trying to provide better health and education for my kids, but im always as excited as you to go back home.

The neighborhood is quiet even if it’s in the main avenue. We are far from all the big noises from the center. But as in most of the island the roster will wake you up at weird time. You can walk in the evenings to go for a nice diner, or to the grocery shop to buy your food. Tour agencies are very close if you need to book a tour, car rentals also. Dancing shows are on the same street than Kahina Lodge, easy to get a reservation. And you can walk 5 minutes to go to the beaches with small natural pools.If you prefer Anakena then you will need a ride it’s 17km from the B&B.
