Key benefits: lovely scenery of the Huangpu River, the Suzhou garden just downstairs, only 6min walk to the Bund, and safe and clean indoor/outdoor environment; Modern fitted kitchen & minibar: electric appliances inc. fridge-freezer, cold wine cabinet, washing machine, oven, dishwasher etc. It is fully equipped with everything you should need throughout your stay; Heating and cooling options: floor heating and wall heaters, air conditioning and fresh air system; Onsite fitness club: swimming pool, tennis court, gym, and squash ball court etc (chargeable and managed by the 3rd party, exclusive to the residence and our guests).

We are Shawn & Anna. And we’d like to share with you a little bit of the story of our cherished property here. First of all, we are not professional at hospitality but are experienced lodgers :-). We used to travel and stayed at many wonderful apartments and houses in the UK and Europe in the last two decades, especially after we had our lovely daughter. When we went back to Shanghai, we had found it’s really challenging to find a proper apartment because we were used to the home-feeling and private check-in process of the UK apartments where you can start daily life straightaway with everything nicely prepared. We normally ended up living in the hotel for the higher standards of rooms with sacrificing the feeling of home. Once our daughter had said “How good would it be if the fairy godmother uses her magic and makes the apartments from the UK move to Shanghai !”And guess what, it turned out we became the fairy godmother ourselves. We had spent several months searching for it, and we finally found the dream we were looking for in the Shimao Riverside Garden which was designed and built to be the highest level of all the residential buildings. It benefits from all the convenience of city center life but kept the busy noise out by creating large private nature-like environments such as meadows, lakes, forests, beaches, gardens and sports fields. For the inside of the apartment, we refurbished it to the best meet to our lifestyle, and we even bought and shipped some furniture all the way from the UK to Shanghai, such as the kitchen, and the sofa and dining table from John Lewis for its reliable quality. When we had finally sat besides the bar holding our drink and looking at our daughter sitting joyfully watching <Little Princess> from the projector, we all smiled with pride and satisfaction. We hope travel families may find home-feeling in our apartment and experience the wonders of Shanghai. Our motto is “Treat our guests the way we enjoyed being treated”.

SURROUNDINGS You can enjoy all the amenities on your doorstep, including pubs, international and local shops, and some nice cuisine options of easten and westen food. Also it’s a very short distance from the Bund, along which an easy and pleasant walk path is recommended to reach the three skyscrapers, as probably the best way of exploring the modern Shanghai.
