This romantic room is set in a quiet, stressless area. Where you start the day with a nice view over the surroundings, whilst taking a shower. An area of 2,5 hectares with paths and terraces in a beautiful setting. Hiking, sunbathing, a jacuzzi to destress, practicing yoga or enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset are among one of the posibilities to do. All nearby the lovely villages Barichara and Guane. A mototaxi brings you in 15 min. to our lovely B&B. Every day we discover how much the area has to offer. Out of all this splendor we selected and offer a few hikes and 4x4 tours.

Our story starts in 2001. In that year we travelled through South America for 6 months. During this dream voyage it became clear that we really felt at home in this remarkable continent. We left knowing that there was still much to discover. Therefore we returned in 2003 for another 6 months. Meanwhile, those memorable experiences are already far behind us. Johan ended up in the tourist sector and found his dream job as a tour guide in Peru and Bolivia. Mexico and Guatemala soon followed, with an occasional journey to Argentina. The 12 years that followed, he stayed for at least six months a year in Latin America. We ended up in 2012 in the idyllic village of Barichara (Santander department). Barichara is discribed as one of the most, if not the most, beautiful villages of Colombia. It therefore became a national monument in 1978. About five kilometres out of Barichara, in the 'vereda' Lubigara, we've bought a farmhouse on two and a half hectares of land and transformed it to a paradise. Moreover the quality of life is high in this region, there is no pollution, few cars, it is safe and quiet and the beautiful countryside is overwhelming.

From Finca San Vicente you can make beautiful walks. The surrounding area is spectacular and leaves you no choice but to explore. Beautiful day trips can be organised on demand. There are a lot of possibilities. For fans of horses there is also the possibility to make horseback riding tours. If you're interested in the larger surroundings, you can book some awesome trips by 4x4. Every year we help the neighbourhood in our vereda Lubigara, by supporting the local school. The area Barichara (multiple), Lubigara (one), Guane (some) has restaurants that serve amazing food ! We are really blessed with some masterchefs overhere. The nature is impressive and ready to be discovered. The architecture is magnificent. Without any doubt this is a beautifull place surrounded by mountains at the outskirts of the Chicamocha P.N.
