El establecimiento The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) está ubicado en El Valle-Bahía Solano, admite mascotas y se halla frente a la playa. Este bed and breakfast se halla sobre una pequeña colina de una península volcánica, justo en el extremo sur de la playa El Almejal. Cuenta con numerosas terrazas con vistas impresionantes al bosque tropical que bordea el océano Pacífico y a las puestas de sol. Hay mucho espacio para poder cumplir con el distanciamiento social. Ideal para parejas o familias que quieran reconectar con la naturaleza. La 2ª planta alberga 3 habitaciones con baño privado y vistas panorámicas increíbles. La capacidad máxima es de 12 huéspedes. Hay gatos y perros viviendo en el establecimiento. Sin embargo, no pueden acceder a la 2ª planta. La zona de estar común y la cocina compartida (totalmente equipada) están en la 3ª planta. Se sirve un desayuno continental gratuito. Los huéspedes también pueden cocinar su propia comida y tomar bebidas de la nevera (se confía en la honestidad de los huéspedes) como si estuvieran en casa. Los huéspedes pueden disfrutar de vistas espectaculares de 360 grados al océano Pacífico y al denso bosque tropical. También se pueden ver ballenas jorobadas desde julio hasta octubre. La 1ª planta se ha reformado recientemente y alberga la zona de la recepción y un estudio de arte/galería/tienda de regalos donde se pueden organizar clases de arte medioambiental. Se ofrece zumo de fruta recién hecho y gratuito a la llegada. El B&B Hill está comprometido con el desarrollo de un marco sostenible y busca mejorar las condiciones económicas y sociales tanto de sus propietarios como de las comunidades de los alrededores. Se trabaja en la conservación y protección del entorno y de la riqueza cultural de la región. El personal facilitará la comunicación de los huéspedes con la gente de la zona. Se pueden recomendar restaurantes, operadores turísticos, capitanes de embarcaciones y guías de confianza. Los huéspedes pueden ver ballenas (desde julio hasta octubre), pasear hasta la playa Cuevita para liberar a crías de tortuga (a partir de septiembre eclosionan los huevos de tortugas marinas que se dirigen al océano Pacífico), avistar aves, hacer excursiones en barco al parque nacional Utría, pasear en canoa por el río Tundo o visitar algunas de las numerosas cascadas cercanas. El The hill B&B se encuentra a 17,7 km del aeropuerto José Celestino Mutis. Se proporciona un servicio de traslado por un suplemento. El parque nacional Ensenada de Utría queda a 40 minutos en barco.

El morro hosteria - The hill B&B, located on a volcanic peninsula in the south end of Almejal beach in El Valle (18 Km south of Bahia Solano) with outstanding views of the Pacific jungle kissing the ocean, providing a tranquil environment, ideal for couples or families looking to spent time reconnecting with nature. The hexagon building is set in a wonderful hill side overlooking Almejal beach, with an open concept, built under bio-climate parameters, with several decks and terraces to help you take in the views and the sunset while allowing you to keep social distance if desire. There are three rooms on the second floor, all with a private bathroom and scenic views buzzing wildlife. The social lounge area / fully furnished shared kitchen, located In the upper third floor, where guest can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast and are invited to help themselves to drinks from the fridge on a trust basis making you feel at home. With 360 degree views, while being mesmerized watching the humpback whales going by.( from July to October). The newly renovated first floor offers the reception area and Jupi's art studio where environmental art classes can be arrange.
Jupi Da Silva a Brazilian American artist from NYC, Monica Da Silva a Colombian American Agronomist / teacher from NYC. Nature and animal lovers very environmentally inclined with easy out going personality. Languages spoken: English, Spanish and Portuguese. PS: Here at the Hill we do have cats and a dog which are part of the family.
Almejal Beach in our opinion is one of the nicest in the area where the jungle kisses the pacific ocean and you can enjoy Surfing or just going for a swim. The people are warm and nice and the water temperature is optimum all year around. Humpback whales and marine turtles migrate every year but a visit any time of the year to this gem of a spot is sure to be rewarding. At the hill We believe and practice eco-community tourism, therefore We will serve You as a bridge of communication with the local community. We have excellent relations with local tour operators that We know and trust, with them You can go to see Humpback whales (from July to October), Sea turtles are hatching from their eggs and walking into the pacific ocean (from September to January), Bird watching, Rainforest hiking to waterfalls and kayaking through the mangroves are only some of the activities offered. The nearest airport is Jose Celestino Mutis in Bahia Solano, 6.5 miles from The Hill, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service (50 minutes by car). Ensenada de Utria National park is a 40 minutes boat ride away.
