Volcán Arenal: Este imponente volcán, con forma cónica perfecta, es uno de los principales atractivos de la zona. Aunque ahora en estado de reposo, su belleza escénica es impresionante. Se disfrutan de caminatas guiadas por sus senderos para observar la flora y fauna tropical, además de las increíbles vistas del lago Arenal. Recomendación Arenal Park 1968. Termalismo: La Fortuna es famosa por sus aguas termales naturales, alimentadas por la actividad volcánica del Arenal. Hay varios complejos termales en la zona que ofrecen piscinas de aguas termales, cascadas y spas para relajarse y rejuvenecer en un entorno natural. Catarata La Fortuna: Esta impresionante cascada, con una caída de más de 70 metros, es otro punto destacado. Se puede acceder a ella a través de un sendero que desciende por la selva tropical, ofreciendo una vista espectacular y la oportunidad de nadar en la piscina natural en su base. Rio Celeste (Parque Nacional Volcán Tenorio) : Queda a 1,5 hora de La Fortuna, pero es increible la magestuosa Catarata y vida sillvestre. Recorridos en canopy y puentes colgantes: Hay varias empresas que ofrecen emocionantes recorridos en canopy (tirolesa) y puentes colgantes que te permiten explorar la selva desde las alturas, ofreciendo vistas panorámicas impresionantes. Santuario de Aves: En la región hay varios santuarios y reservas privadas dedicadas a la conservación de aves tropicales. Estos lugares son ideales para observar de cerca especies como tucanes, colibríes y quetzales. Cultura local: No te pierdas la oportunidad de explorar la vida local y la cultura costarricense.
