Encanto Lodge features a unique location where you can find all in one: Jungle, river and beach! Beside a trail in the jungle, our guests can take our kayaks and canoes to reconnect with nature and discover the local wildlife on the river, lagoon and a pristine beach. Encanto Lodge is secluded from the center of Drake Bay and consists of two detached, private Cabañas nestled between garden, jungle and river. The rooms are decorated with wall paintings depicting the local wildlife and with natural materials as white cane or pumpkin tree fruit. Our guests can relax in the hammocks surrounded by nature or choose from a variety of tours that allow them to dive even more into nature and look for special wildlife of interest, e.g. our special Encanto night tour where you can look for the shiny eyes of the crocodiles, a trip to the world famous Corcovado National Park or Diving at Caño Island. Both our cabañas are equipped with a kitchenette. We will also gladly prepare meals for guests that do not wish to cook by themselves. Encanto Lodge offers the free service to pick you up from Drake Bay airport or the boat station and free parking for guests arriving by car (recommended).
Encanto lodge is a family-run business speaking fluently English, Spanish and (Swiss-)German. Edu and Sabrina built it up together. Both love to cook for their guests Edu is a local that grew up at this place. He is a naturalist guide and carpenter, he built everything by himself. Fishing is his passion. Sabrina is a Biologist that moved from Switzerland to Costa Rica in 2009 where she started working in tourism at Rio Drake Farm and later Encanto Lodge. She loves horses since she can remember and has her own horses at Encanto Lodge . Sabrina did all the painting on the buildings , is responsible for the website and the reservations. Informe al Encanto Lodge acerca de su hora de llegada estimada con antelación para organizar el servicio de transfer gratuito. Para ello, puede usar el apartado de pedidos especiales del formulario de reserva o ponerse en contacto con el alojamiento. Los datos de contacto figuran en la confirmación de la reserva. Si tiene previsto viajar en auto, se recomienda usar un vehículo todoterreno.

En Bahía Drake no hay bancos ni cajeros automáticos. Dado que el Encanto Lodge no acepta tarjetas de crédito como forma de pago, se recomienda llevar suficiente dinero en efectivo para las actividades.

Las excursiones a la isla del Caño (snorkel y buceo) y al parque nacional Corcovado deben reservarse al mediodía o a primera hora de la tarde del día anterior. Los huéspedes que deseen participar en estas excursiones deberán indicarlo a la propiedad con antelación.

El Encanto Lodge recomienda llevar crema de protección solar, repelente de insectos, linterna, chubasquero y botas de agua (especialmente durante la temporada de lluvias).

No se admiten animales de compañía, excepto perros guía.

El servicio de transfer desde la terminal de micros de El Progreso, la terminal marítima de Bahía Drake o el aeropuerto de Bahía Drake es gratuito si se reserva con antelación.

Informá a Encanto Lodge con antelación tu hora estimada de llegada. Para hacerlo, podés usar el apartado de pedidos especiales al hacer la reserva o ponerte en contacto directamente con la propiedad. Los datos de contacto aparecen en la confirmación de la reserva.

Es necesario realizar el pago antes de la llegada a través de transferencia bancaria. El alojamiento se pondrá en contacto contigo después de reservar para darte las instrucciones.
