This fabulous house is nestled in the mountains, only 15 minutes from the beaches of Samara, and it is the definition of a peaceful retreat. Come here to be alone and write your novel, relax, or to spend quality time as a family. Situated on 20 acres of private land, filled with a variety of fruit trees (coffee, chili peppers, star fruit, plantains, lime, and more) you will experience the natural beauty of Costa Rica immersed in the sights and sounds of nature.

Neighbourhood information

The Retreat is located 15 minutes outside of Samara, near a small village called Chinampas. The house itself does not have any nearby neighbors. The village is remote but residents are friendly and enjoy seeing visitors. Playa Samara is the nearest larger town, and features many excellent restaurants, bars, many things to do during the day and active nightlife. Samara is known as one of the safest swimming beaches in Costa Rica, and is an excellent beach for learning to surf. There is abundant shade on the beach, as well as restaurants and bars along edge of the beach. There are grocery stores nearby and along the town where you can find everything you need, also we connect you with an organic groceries delivery store. This house is best for someone who has a vehicle, preferably with four wheel drive. It's about 15 min driving to the beach town. We could provide Taxi information in case needed .
