Welcome to Beach House Pietermaai. Historical Pietermaai District is a popular, cozy neighborhood where you can enjoy city life as well as the soothing sea on your own terrace. Because we enjoy working with beautiful interiors and developing new and monumental houses, we have contributed to the further development of Pietermaai. We also live and work in Pietermaai ourselves. (Unesco World Heritage). We help you personally with service and advice about Curacao and the Pietermaai District. And are happy to tell you about the history, the many excellent restaurants and nice shops. We are originally from The Netherlands and have been living and working in Pietermaai since 2008 with our two children. We love Pietermaai because of the many restaurants where we can enjoy a wide variety of cuisines. Eat local in Plasa Bieu, enjoy oysters and asparagus, for example at Restaurant Cristal. As music fans we also enjoy Pietermaai! Especially at the weekend there are several places with live performances: Miles Jazz Café, Club 27 and Mundo Bizarro. Beach House Pietermaai is located in the historic Pietermaai District in a monumental building from the early 1900's. The nearest beach is in a 10 minutes walking distance and you can reach the popular beaches like Mambo and Cabana beach on the Sea Aquarium Boulevard by car or local bus within 10 minutes. These sandy beaches offer happy hours, shops and the Sea Aquarium with dolphin shows. Also a city beach is within 2 minutes walking distance reachable. In historic Pietermaai District you will find everything you need for an ultimate vacation. A trendy lounge and ocean club, atmospheric restaurants, cozy cafes (and happy hours), city beaches, hair stylist, drug store, small shops, a diving school with dive shop and a small supermarket, all reachable with a short walking of the accommodation. Within a 5 minutes walk you will find the Willemstad historical city centre Punda with shops, town squares with patio cafes, the historical synagogue, the harbor with docked cruise ships, the Pontoon bridge and musea. Curacao is a prime location for diving fanatics: the water is warm and clear, the beaches are snow-white with palm trees softly swaying in a light breeze.
