Kurt Schoop and Clayton Lasten are the owners of Bario Hotel. Both are local entrepreneurs with a strong connection to the neighborhood. They have a passion for the Ser'i Otrobanda area. To promote the neighborhood, they also started an event called Kaya Kaya Street Party. They call it a sexy community-building tool because, in the months leading up to the street party, they focus on building up the area, with a big street celebration in Ser'i Otrobanda as the result full of live music, art, and delicious food.
