We are Arnaud and Mariëlle, the proud founders of Villa Grandi. From the Netherlands, we passionately manage this boutique resort in the heart of Willemstad. Our travels to Curaçao made us fall in love with the island – its culture, people, and ambiance captured our hearts. Although we do not live in Curaçao, we, together with our dedicated local team, ensure a warm welcome and carefree stay for our guests. Our love for hospitality and eye for detail are reflected in every villa, where comfort and style meet in a historic setting.

Villa Grandi is a stylish, boutique resort in the heart of Willemstad, within walking distance of the iconic Queen Emma Bridge. This hidden gem consists of three luxury villas: a historic city villa and two contemporary design villas clustered around a saltwater pool and tropical garden. Each villa has its own character, with a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, air conditioning, and a private terrace. All bedrooms feature comfortable 2.10 m box-spring beds, AC, a ceiling fan, and an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower. The resort is ideal for couples, families, or groups of friends. Punda Beach (Playa Marichi) is an 18-minute walk away, and Willemstad city center with the Queen Emma Bridge is just 12 minutes on foot. Curaçao International Airport is 9 km from the resort. Villa Grandi is located in Otrobanda, a lively and colorful district on the west side of St. Anna Bay in Willemstad. Its name literally means “the other side” and, together with Punda, forms the historical city centre. Otrobanda is known for its rich history, colonial architecture, and artistic flair. This neighbourhood blends cultures and offers an authentic Caribbean atmosphere. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of restored heritage buildings and modern art — including impressive murals and sculptures. Otrobanda is also home to several museums, such as the Kurá Hulanda Museum, which highlights the history of the trans‑Atlantic slave trade, and the Curaçaosch Museum, located in a former military hospital. The area offers a wide variety of dining options, from local street food to international restaurants, and cozy bars with live music. The proximity to the famous Queen Emma Bridge — the “Swinging Old Lady” — makes it easy to explore Punda.
