El encantador hostal Alt Straninger se encuentra en el centro histórico de Cesky Krumlov, justo enfrente del centro de arte Egon Schiele. El edificio fue mencionado por primera vez en el año 1370 y fue reconstruido en estilo barroco alrededor de 1660 por su propietario, el concejal de Krumlov Straninger.
