Imagine yourself in a soft chair, reading a book or playing chess, with a glass of vine by your hand, glancing at the fire, kids playing upstairs in TV room with toys and hammock - that was our idea while creating this home. We are family of five (me, my husband and 3 sons - like the 5 maple trees surrounding the house) from Prague and Five maple home is our place to escape, breath healthy, relax and do sports. We have created a mountain home for our family and everyone else who prefers privacy over civic amenities and loves virgin nature over popular monuments, where you can take long walks meeting noone. Our guests can find here some real peace and quiet. For days and even weeks you can watch only the trees and mountains from the house windows. We have put a lot attention to comfortable sleeping and nice details. It is very pleasant to see that our home inspires guests to be creative also which we appriciate very much and add those creations to others to decorate the interior. Our family has got three children so you can find toys and games here for inside and outside. The weather can get wild any time of the year here and we made sure everyone feels warm and comfy inside adding super fluffy linen and plenty of blankets, heated floors, inside fire place, radiators all over the place. There is always prepared a fireplace for the guest. Pets are welcomed here and can enjoy running in open nature with rare fences. This house is perfect for one big or two smaller families. The are no restaurants or shops in walking distance so that is why we put a big effort into the kitchen equipment. You can find nearly everything there. Sports from the door: hiking, running, crosscountryskiing, cycling, rollerblading, within 5km: downhill skying, swimming, climbing.

love to host because it makes me very happy when my guests feel as nice as I do when staying in our mountain home. It fills me up with joy :-). I like very much the communication so the guests shell feel always free and comfortable about asking me for any kind of help, advice or while having trouble with anything. Hosting is my passion so I can, in my free time write books. Our family loves animals, we have 3 cats, so all fluffy darlings are welcome.

From the feedback from all our guests so far and what also we like the most is the view. It is also the reason why we bought this house. It is just so pleasant and looks different every day, every time of the year. We can never get tired of it. On second place is definitly the very close nature, a giant forrest within 100m, where you can find so many nice walking or running paths to take your kids or your dogs to. Those paths lead to streams, mountain views, or near villages. What is very special about them, the paths - that you meet almost noone. Sports: This beautiful area of Czech Republic is still undiscovered by tonne of tourists that you can experience in Jizerske hory or Šumava. But, at the same time - prepared. There are nice roads for cycling trips (even rollerblades are safe - I do it with a stroller), forrest bike roads, natural public bath with biotop cleaning, giant skying area Klínovec 15min drive- the largest in the country, nice smaller ski area Alšovka within 5km which my family prefers (it even has got cool snow park), and of course crosscountry ski possibility to start from the door. Thermal spings: Same as in Karlovy Vary (35min by car) you find springs to drink in Klášterec nad Ohří (15 min). Bring empty bottles. It´s few crowns per liter. Semiprecious stones: Our area is known for it´s various locations where you can find agate, crystal, and others. Ask for the locations. Locations are not easy to find. Culture: If you feel for history your find in the house tips for closest castles, museums, monasterys, shafts. Restaurants: Only what we miss here are excelent restaurants that you are use to in other mountain resorts. There are few goon ones we have tried but you have to reach it by car. I provide you the tips if you like. You reach our area very easily compare to other mountains, comfortably from the highway - all the way up, and than just continue already on the peaks of the hills, no need to climb with your car up through small roads.
