A modern apartment in a heritage building, built for Germany's royal family, the Hohenzollerns in 1865 for their personal and exclusive use. Formerly the home of the station master and for many years, the town's mayor, this unique apartment will charm and impress. I restored the building, a former Imperial Train Station. I am a journalist with a special interest in 19th, 20th and 21st century European history.

The apartment is on the first floor of the Kaiserbahnhof (Emperor Railway Station), built for Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1865. The building is adjacent to the Halbe Station. There are hourly passenger trains heading north to Berlin and south to Cottbus, once in each direction. There are also goods trains and express trains. On the other side of the building, lies a small park and beyond the township of Halbe and beyond the forests, cycle paths, lakes and canals for which the area is well known. An Edeka supermarket is close by. There is parking throughout Halbe. There is a supermarket within a few hundred metres, a pizza parlour and beside a very deep and lovely lake, about 1 km away, a Greek restaurant, Kalimera.
