After extensive modernization and renovation work, Benedict Bauer launched Apartments Bauer in March 2025—continuing the legacy of the family-run Gästehaus Bauer, originally founded by his grandparents, Mathilde and Franz Bauer. Following the transformation of the former Bäckerei Bauer, they opened the guesthouse in 1994. With the opening of Apartments Bauer, Benedict Bauer carries on this tradition while adding new, contemporary touches to the historic building.
