Hi and welcome to our little alpaca farm on Elbe's river island just within a stone's throw from Hamburg central. This space is for you when you love cultural & busy urban life, but you'd rather be at (your temporal) home where it's green & feels like in the countryside. Whether you're traveling alone, or with your partner or kid, you'll find everything you need in our calm and minimalistic but comfortable little space, entirely renovated in 2022. This one (bed)room includes a dedicated working desk and enough storage room for your personal stuff. There is an extendible queen sized bed for one or two. We're happy to provide an additional mattress on the floor for one (little) kid – if requested in advance – but be aware that there won't be much more space left in the cozy little room. You'll find a tightly arranged dining table and kitchenette in the entry area, as well as a seperate bathroom (with toilet and shower) on the left. There's also a little frontyard/terrace right in front of your room's window, that you're welcome to use as you like. (more photos coming as soon as possible in spring!) Our calm and private guest room is integrated in our residential house, but with a seperate entrance; located with nature next door & only a short hop from Hamburg city. While your stay, it's completely up to your privacy; you don't have to share the space with us or anyone else. That's not to exclude that we might get to know each other as we're working outdoors a lot. :) The room is at ground level with only three little steps to entry. To protect our alpacas from being stressed by foreign humans, the meadow behind the house is not freely accessible. But of course, feel free to say „hi“ or watch the animals through the fence.

You'll be staying at our home/house, and we love mutual privacy. But of course, if you have any questions, beforehand or whilst your stay don't hesitate to contact us via e-mail / booking's messanger or just ask us on-site.

You'll see how we live here like in the countryside, but enjoy the extraordinarily comfortable connection to Hamburg's city life. So we recommand traveling by public transport. There's a bus stop just 150 meters from the house to get to the nearby railway stations. From there it's just under half an hour to get to the center (Hamburg central station, pedestrian area, harbor, "Elbphilharmonie" etc.). You could also rent one of our bikes if you wish to explore the area independently. When we first moved in here, we couldn't believe how it actually feels like a vacation at the sea shore – just without the North Sea. You'll find an ancient wind mill (that is still working!) only three blocks away, and if you'd love to take a little (or a long) walk along the Elbe's dyke, you just follow the road … but in the other direction, you'll be in the heart of Hamburg city in just about half an hour.
