The small village Bugewitz-Gut is situated off the main roads near a beautiful nature reserve comprising a rich variety of birds, on the outskirts of a wood perfect for extensive walks. You can enjoy pure nature in our peaceful village with its friendly locals. Our cottage provides bikes with which you can explore the surrounding area on well-built cycle routes. Thus you can access the Baltic Sea or the town of Ueckermünde to bathe or visit the zoo or you may even ferry to Poland or the Isle of Usedom. Ueckermünde is easily reached by car in 20 mins. Bugewitz offers pony trekking and the nearby village of Kamp provides a water hiking resting place. In Ducherow, you can visit the motorcycle museum and from there, it’s not far to the legendary cairn of Rossin. In Ducherow and Anklam (12km), there are railway stations and shopping facilities. The next bathing places are Mönkebude (5km), Ueckermünde (14km) and the Isle of Usedom (40km).
