Welcome to your holiday flat Weserbergland, private and the perfect starting point for your short holiday in Lower Saxony. Halfway between Hamelin (home of the pied piper and Ratcatcher’s City) and the historic town of Rinteln. It´s only 3.4 km to the Weser cycle path (Weser-Radweg) and 7.8 km to Schaumburg castle. You stay in one of the typical red brick houses of northern Germany, the flat is on the ground floor (5 steps up). The maritime furnishings of the holiday accommodation provide a charming atmosphere for your holiday. Your bathroom feels natural and fresh, in green, white and brown tones, just like on the Weser! Your modern bathroom is lowered, the floor-level shower is practical and comfortable. Naturally, a hairdryer, fluffy soft towels, toilet paper and soap are provided. The bedroom is dominated by sea and beach motifs. The 2 x 2 metre double bed (2 mattresses) offers plenty of space. The mattresses are medium-hard, slatted frames are NEW. Plenty of storage space in the spacious wardrobe. The cosy corner sofa with cushions and comfy blankets makes the living room feel cosy. Here you can relax, play, read and watch TV (books, board games and cards are available. The separate kitchen is fully equipped: fridge, freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, extractor fan, microwave, toaster, thermos flask and kettle. The dining table has room for 4 people to eat, work or play. There are plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils. You don't need to worry about washing-up liquid, dishwashing brush, sponge, dishwasher tabs, kitchen roll, coffee filters and spices, etc. either. In the storeroom you will find an iron, dustpan, hand brush, clothes horse and many other useful utensils. There are several seating areas around the house, from sunny to shady, inviting you to linger. Even on hot days, it's easy to stay here and simply dip your feet in the cool water of the Ellerbach.

We want you to feel completely at home with us and enjoy your stay in the Weser Uplands. • As nature and animal lovers, the large property is partly left in its natural state - instead of an English lawn, wild bees and bumblebees can look forward to flowering daisies and other wild herbs. Red kites, buzzards and kestrels circle here and, with a bit of luck, you might spot a grey heron or even the rare black stork in our little creek, the Ellerbach. • Have you had a long journey, been stuck in a traffic jam or are simply too exhausted to go shopping? Then you'll be delighted with our free food & drink-welcome pack. • Something is always in season in our garden in summer, whether fresh strawberries, plums or grapes, courgettes, tomatoes or wild flowers, we are happy to share with our guests. • The car park for our guests is located on our property, but still in front of the gate in the driveway. The holiday flat am Ellerbach is located in the Weserbergland, surrounded by meadows and fields, halfway between the HO districts of Welsede and Rohden. Opposite is a farm (without livestock).
