Our house is located directly in the center of Markt Berchtesgaden in the immediate vicinity of the pedestrian zone on a quiet side street. The back of the property is bordered by deciduous forest. The house is a mixed-use residential and commercial building. On the ground floor there is a store for individual arts and crafts, run by Berchtesgaden artists. On the 1st floor (rear ground level entrance also for 2nd floor) is the homeowner's apartment and on the 2nd floor are two (one 70sqm, one 50sqm), each self-contained vacation apartments (non-smoking). The building is completed with a double garage and a large forecourt (free parking). The front of the house (balconies of the apartments) is east-facing, the side front is south-facing. At the back of the building is terraced meadow area and garden with a garden house and then deciduous forest. The house was thoroughly modernized and furnished in 2003.

From the balcony of the apartments you have a direct view to the Obersalzberg and Kehlstein, Hohes Brett and Jenner. The house is heated by a modern natural gas solar heating system. The pedestrian zone is 50 meters away, bus stops, cab stand and Kur- und Kongresshaus are reachable in 3 minutes. As connoisseurs of the Berchtesgaden mountains, we can give our guests good advice.
