We’re Gabi, Wolfi, and our little daughter Miriam – a nature-loving family from Nesselwang in the beautiful Allgäu region. For us, there’s simply no better place: impressive mountains, crystal-clear lakes, blooming meadows, living traditions, and genuine hospitality – that’s what makes the Allgäu our home. Our love for traveling and meeting people from all over the world inspired us to start AllgäuHomes – a small but special agency for cozy holiday apartments with that “feel-good” factor. What once began with our own attic flat (the Froschkönig apartment) has grown into a heartfelt project where hospitality, quality, and individuality come first. I (Gabi) bring my experience from the travel industry and our shared passion for discovering new places into the business – these days preferably with our campervan and away from the tourist crowds. Wolfi grew up right here in Nesselwang and knows every corner – the perfect guide for sharing insider tips with our guests. Welcome to the holiday apartment “Froschkönig”! This modern apartment, renovated in cozy Allgäu style, is set in a sunny location with stunning mountain views and offers space for up to 4 guests and 1 small child. In the living and sleeping area, you’ll find a comfortable double bed, a dining corner, and a fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher. A separate bedroom with two single beds provides extra privacy. After an eventful day, the private sauna with relaxation area invites you to unwind. Within just a few minutes’ walk, you can reach the center of Nesselwang with its restaurants, cafés, and shops, as well as the Alpspitz cable car. With the included KÖNIGSCARD, you’ll enjoy access to more than 200 free activities in the region – from mountain lifts to swimming pools.

Nesselwang is the perfect spot, nestled between mountains and lakes – ideal for anyone who loves nature, outdoor activities, and pure relaxation. Right in town you’ll find the Alpspitzbahn, a true highlight both in summer and winter: in winter it’s a family-friendly ski area, and in summer countless hiking trails lead you into the breathtaking Alpine scenery. For thrill-seekers, there’s also a Flying Fox zipline, a summer toboggan run, and an adventure playground. A real gem is the Alpspitz-Bade-Center – a modern swimming pool with pleasantly warm water, perfect for families with young kids. On top of that, mini golf, archery, and other activities make sure there’s never a dull moment. The surroundings are just as exciting: crystal-clear mountain lakes, fascinating castles and fortresses, several high ropes courses, and stunning cycling and panorama trails are all waiting for you.
