Hamburg Rahlstedt/Farmsen, small but very fine The house "Am Knill 42" is situated on a Pfeifenstiel property on the border to the district Farmsen-Berne. Parking is available in front of the house. The U1 (Farmsen) can be reached on foot in 12 minutes. From there you are in 22 minutes at the main station, in 26 minutes at the Jungfernstieg. The EURO-University (ILS) can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. There is also a bus connection there. There are several restaurants (It., Gr., Syr., Chin. Deutsch). We offer 2 Ladies-Bikes and a bike for men all 28 inch for free use. If you will be arriving by train, we will pick you up at the Metro-station "Farmsen" by car. Combined bedroom and living room with small hallway. There is no cooking facilities in the apartment (35 m²), but there is a kettle and a Nespresso machine. There is also a fridge, a sink and a microwave. Coffee, tea and mineral water are included in the price. Breakfast can also be served on request. There are 2 bakeries in the immediate vicinity (within 15 minutes walking distance) which offer breakfast 7 times a week. All windows are equipped with opaque blinds.

We are an older couple (English and Spanish), travel experienced and mentally mobile. As a rule we are always available for our guests. Exceptions are only possible when we are travelling ourselves. We would like to expressly point out that this apartment does not fall under the Housing Protection Act which has just been passed by the Hamburg citizens and can therefore be rented out permanently without restrictions. First-class starting point for cycling tours to the east of Hamburg (Großensee, Lütjensee). The subway also runs at night on weekends, making the house easily accessible by public transport. Several restaurants (Italian, Syrian, Greek, Chinese and German cuisine) in the neighbourhood, some with beer garden, an ice cream parlour are within walking distance. 2 shopping centres in the immediate vicinity (EKT Farmsen: 1 km, Rahlstedt-Center: 2 km). The EURO-FH or ILS in Rahlstedt is only 2.0 km away from us. There is a bus to Rahlstedt in the immediate vicinity. (3 stops). There are also 2 natural lakes in the immediate vicinity which invite you to swim. Both are within walking distance or can be reached with our own bicycles

The house borders on a total of 7 gardens with detached houses. Thus our guests live in a quiet environment. There are no parking concerns in our street. Ice rink and Rudolf Steiner School Farmsen only 600 meters away. There are 2 open-air swimming pools (natural lakes) in the immediate vicinity and the Großensee is a further 12 km away. By bicycle (12 km always in the countryside) to the city centre. The village Volksdorf is 5 km away; also always reachable by bike in the green. U1 to the city centre and bus connections nearby. S-Bahn-Rahlstedt 2 km by bus. In the immediate vicinity there is a discount store and a bakery. We provide two seven-speed bicycles for a voluntary fee, so that you can get there quickly.
