Our cozy farmhouse is located in Zeetze, a picturesque village in the district of Lüneburg in the Elbtalaue. Lüneburg with its historic old town is about 30 minutes away by car, Hamburg about 45 minutes. The house offers a direct view and access to the lake. Peace and relaxation are guaranteed as well as unforgettable nature experiences. We generate electricity and hot water with a photovoltaic system and heat with renewable raw materials. The location is ideal for long hikes, cycling tours, bird watching - in other words, for active relaxation. A free bathing area is within walking distance. Hunting opportunities are also available by prior arrangement. Horses can be stabled for an extra charge. The accommodation has approx. 200m2 of living space over two levels, old floorboards and tiled stoves. We renovated in 2015, in 2022 two more spacious bedrooms with lake view were added on the upper floor. Both have a television. In one of the two rooms there is a day bed in addition to the 1.80m wide double bed. The staircase to the upper floor is quite steep, this should be considered when booking. Directly adjacent to the conservatory is a terrace with access to a garden with lake access and jetty. This outdoor area is only used by the guests of the farmhouse, so privacy is guaranteed. The garden is large and has a natural design. We don't sprinkle and you can see that. The jetty on the lake is large enough to spend some relaxing hours there, and there is also a rowing boat that can be used. Towards the end of the summer, however, there are a lot of water lilies growing in the lake, which can make rowing difficult. It is not possible to swim from this jetty as the water is too shallow for this. However, there is a free bathing area within walking distance. Four runner ducks, rabbits and our cat Rüdiger live on the farm. A booking is possible from 3 persons. Bringing a dog is possible after consultation.

We have dogs ourselves and are happy to offer our guests a vacation with a dog. However, it must be ensured that the other animals on the farm are not chased. Out of respect for the furnishings and subsequent guests, dogs should not be allowed on the furniture. This outdoor area is only used by the guests of the farmhouse, so privacy is guaranteed. At the back of the house there is another vacation apartment with its own garden.
