Under new management from December 2012, this hotel lies in Masserburg, in the heart of the Thuringian Forest, just 1640 feet from ski slopes. Free WiFi, a TV and reading room are offered in the stylish lounge area, and guests can enjoy a restaurant on site. The spacious rooms at the Kurhotel Auerhahn are warmly decorated with classic-style furniture. Comforts include a flat-screen TV, free mineral water upon arrival, and a bathrobe in the bathroom. The hotel enjoys an ideal location directly on the popular Rennsteig hiking and cycle trail, just a 3-minute walk from the ski slopes.
