Our guesthouse is run with much love by me, Michaela, and my four children. Also a big black - very well-behaved! - dog named Buddy is part of our family. It can happen that you meet him sometimes. Basically he is always in our flat on the top floor and not in the guest area . Nevertheless, he has to walk across the corridors to go for a walk, on a leash of course, so unfortunately our boarding house is not suitable for dog allergy sufferers. We are available throughout the day as we live together with you under one roof. We don't have a permanently staffed reception, but I will give you my number when you arrive, so that you can always reach me if you can't find me. Our greatest wish is that our guests feel comfortable. That's why we would like to hear from you about anything that would make us better. We look forward to seeing you!

All is still right with the world here! Our cosy guesthouse invites those seeking peace and quiet, families, nature lovers and active holidaymakers alike. Situated in the middle of the enchanting Achen Valley, you will find a base for various excursions. Our house is located in Schleching (district of Mühlau), which is officially designated as a mountain climbing village. Several hiking trails start right in front of the house and lead, for example, to the adjacent Geigelstein nature reserve. In winter, you can reach the cross-country skiing trails in just a few minutes (50 metres). All rooms are very bright and equipped with a balcony. The Wuhrsteinhaus is situated very sunny on a hill. On colder days, warm up by our fireplace or in the outdoor sauna. A bicycle room and a ski cellar are at your disposal free of charge.

Surrounded by mountains and the proximity to Lake Chiemsee (15 kilometres) offer numerous leisure opportunities! Hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks start directly on site. The Unterwössen glider airfield and the Tiroler Ache river for rafting enthusiasts are 5 kilometres away. In Kössen (7 kilometres), adventurous people can learn paragliding. In winter you can go tobogganing there. Those who prefer hiking are drawn to the popular Kaisergebirge (8 kilometres). Those who like climbing will get their money's worth on the Zellerwand (approx. 2 km away). Amusement parks (such as the Märchen-Erlebnispark) are also not far away and provide children with a fairytale-like time. Many skiing areas (e.g. Steinplatte, Reit im Winkl) are in the immediate vicinity. Schleching itself offers a ski slope suitable for children. There really is something for everyone.
