The Kaiserin holiday apartment is located in the center of the traditional and idyllic village of Reit im Winkl. Ski and bike rental, inns, bakeries and all shops for daily needs are within walking distance. The cross-country ski run and many hiking trails start in front of the house. The ski bus stop is only a few meters away. An arrival by public transport is possible and recommended due to a good connection to Munich. If you arrive by car, you can easily park in the parking lot in front of the house. Reit im Winkl is about 20 km south of Lake Chiemsee in Chiemgau, in the tri-border region of Bavaria, Tyrol and Salzburg. At an altitude of 696 m (town center) it is the highest community in the district of Traunstein. The highest elevation in the municipality is the Dürrnbachhorn at 1,776 m. In summer a hiking paradise with nearby via ferratas and signposted mountain bike routes as well as guided e-bike tours. Reit im Winkl is one of the snowiest regions in Bavaria. An active winter holiday with skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoes or leisurely hiking in the winter forest.
