Unser Schloss ist nur zum Teil renoviert, einige Räume haben Gemälde aus dem 16. und 18.Jhd. wunderschöne Stickornamente sind erhalten. Die Wohnung liegt in dem teilweise renoviertem Wasserschloss von 1565 in Höllrich, einem Ortsteil von Karsbach. . Zwei liebevoll eingerichtetes 40m² Zimmer sowie eine Küche und eine Dusche stehen bereit. Sie wohnen in einem Zimmer mit Kreuzgewölbe und zwei sehr schön verzierte Steinsäulen. Der neu angefertigte Eichendielenboden verleiht dem Raum einen angenehmen warmen Flair. Der Blick geht auf den Innenhof und dem Schlossgraben hinaus. Ein Kleiderschrank ist in die 1,30m dicke Steinmauer eingelassen.
Ich freue mich Gästen in unserem historischen und denkmalgeschützten Gebäude zu begrüßen.
Ein kleines ländliches Dorf mit 350 Einwohnern. Sehr ruhig hier. Buchen- und Eichenwälder laden zum Wandern ein, auf der fränkischen Saale, nur ein paar km entfernt kann man mit dem Kanu schöne Wanderungen unternehmen, und in historischen Gaststätten einkehren. Eine Wanderung zum Wasserfall oder zu Burgruine Homburg führt sie über schattige Waldwege zum Ziel. Kleine Städte im Umkreis von 15 km laden zur Besichtigung ein. Der Rokokogarten in Veitshöchheim ist 35km, Würzburg ist 45km, Fulda 65km, Bamberg 80km entfernt.
