Meet Rikke Hi, we are Rikke and Morten and we are from Odense. In 2021 we fell in love with Sydlangeland and bought our lovely holiday home. The house was originally a Lilje summer house from 1974, but in 1997 a first floor was added. Our lovely master bedroom is located here, with a beautiful view of the sea and the large protected meadow. Since we took over the cottage in the fall of 2021, we have renovated and rebuilt. We are very much into DIY and reuse/rebuild and it helps to give the cottage personality and its very own cozy style. It has also been important for us to make the cottage functional and easy to live in. It's the perfect place for a romantic getaway, cozy family vacation or relaxing with walks, good books and lots of fresh air. However, the silence is sometimes broken by chattering geese flying in large formations, as one of Denmark's great bird sanctuaries, Tryggelev Nor, is close by.
