It consists of living room/kitchen with fireplace, two bedrooms, a room for storage and a small bathroom. An ideal location for a quiet vacation is offered here. Nearby is the lake Søby, a very pure heath lake and with a child-friendly swimming beach. Søby was once an open-cast lignite mine, but is now blessed with a wealth of species after renaturation. On 16 km² there are now high white sand peaks and reddish brown lignite lakes to see, which offer beautiful contrasts. In the lignite museum you can learn a lot about the hard barrack life during the Second World War and the years after. A quarter of an hour from the house is Herning, where young and old will find plenty of entertainment: Boxing at the Exhibition Center, Baboon City - an indoor playland and the Herning shopping center. Likewise, Legoland, Givskud Zoo and Jyllands Park Zoo are within reach of the vacation home.
