Võsu is historically known as a resort on the north coast of Estonia in Lahemaa. It has a nice sand beach and beautiful nature. In the area there are many sightseeings and possibilities to spend active holidays. In spring and autumn it is possible to go fishing near the island of Kuradisaar (Devil’s island) to catch trout and salmon. Stormy weather and strong winds lure kitesurfers. More courageous people can plunge into the sea to examine the remains of old shipwrecks. Who likes peace and quiet can visit Võsu library, borrow some novels and enjoy them in our hammock. Võsu has also a decent boat harbor and a lot of amusement places. It is worthwhile to visit the surrounding famous places: Palmse, Sagadi and Vihula manors, Toolse castle ruins, fisher village Altja and Käsmu Captains village.
