Our GETAWAY Homes for Rent brand was born in 2014, when a group of three people with extensive experience in real estate management and tourism decided to offer travelers, welcoming and different properties in special areas of Gran Canaria. Our main objective has always been to satisfy the expectations of an H2H (Home to Home) vacation trip, offering our guests the experience of living like a local resident. That is, being able to enjoy all the activities, gastronomy and culture that our friendly islands offer day by day, added to the wonderful warm climate that we have throughout the year and that makes us enjoy the beautiful and different beaches of the island. We come from the real estate sector where we have developed our previous activity with different promotions and rehabilitations in different municipalities of the Island. Our group is formed by professionals in business management and international training Also a great team spcialized in tourism with proven experience in the sector. All the apartments we manage, have been previously selected and adapted to a current, modern and functional style that connects, and perfectly satisfies, our travellers needs.

Spacious and comfortable holiday home in the form of an earth house in the heart of Agaete, between the quay and the town of Agaete, the house has three large bedrooms, a terrace with barbecue, hammocks, shaded areas, outdoor shower, fruit trees and a large roof terrace with fantastic views of the Tamadaba natural park. There is also a porch at the entrance, ideal for enjoying a good local coffee and a huge interior patio. The house is ideal for families who want to relax, go hiking, do water sports or discover the island. There is a large area in front of the house, where you can park easily. Agaete is a seaside village, its town centre is located at an altitude of 43 metres above sea level. The topography of Agaete is, in general, very abrupt. There are three main basins: El Risco, Guayedra and Agaete, reaching a maximum altitude of 1,180 metres in the summit area of the Pinar de Tamadaba.

From the Agaete Valley, which stands out for its unique beauty and its tropical fruit, orange and coffee plantations, there are impressive views of the Tamadaba massif, with its leafy pine forests. In addition to the great beauty of the Agaete Valley, you can enjoy the traditional constructions that give shelter to rural tourism in the area, encouraging the practice of hiking in the municipality. Puerto de Las Nieves is the coastal area of the municipality. Here we find the Chapel and its Triptych of Our Lady of Las Nieves, the latter attributed to the 16th century Flemish painter Joos Van Cleve. In Puerto de Las Nieves, you can see the Roque Partido or Dedo Dios, another symbol for the Canary Islanders. The Roque Partido is a rock formation that has taken the shape of a hand due to erosion. Agaete is also home to some of the most popular natural pools and beaches in the north of the island. The busiest is Playa de Las Nieves, with calm waters and a good seafaring atmosphere, full of restaurants offering the best of the local gastronomy and a picturesque promenade.
