What is a B&B? A B&B, which stands for "Bed and Breakfast", is a form of accommodation where guests rent a room to stay overnight and where they receive a delicious, fresh and personal breakfast in the morning. The concept is often small-scale and more personal than a hotel. B&Bs are usually run by private individuals or families, and are often located in a house or another characteristic location, such as a village house, a farm or a historic building. Guests usually stay in one of the rooms in the house and breakfast is often prepared and served by the owners themselves. Because B&Bs are smaller, the atmosphere is often more homely and informal than in larger hotels. What does this B&B Villa Deseada have? This B&B is a unique village house with 360 degree unobstructed views of the meadow mountainous surroundings. All 3 rooms (Uno, Dos & Tres) on the ground floor have a private bathroom with (rain) shower, sink and toilet. The 4th room (Cuatro) is located on -1 and has a separate bathroom from the room itself. The owners also enter the passageway of this room, so it is NOT completely private. There is a cozy guest room on the ground floor and a refrigerator with an honesty bar in the kitchen. Upstairs is an attractive, partly covered roof terrace with quite a few potted plants and a hot tub with a view. The B&B is located near the hiking/cycling routes GR249, GR242 and the GR7. So this location is extremely suitable for an overnight stay! Our B&B is in a hamlet with a local bar that has been around for over 100 years. The friendly owner Rafael is happy to tell you about the history of the bar. A host who is happy to give you a taste of life in Periana. There is also a sulfur bath within walking distance. Healthy for life and limb and always around 21 degrees warm water. It lies in the middle of a green oasis. From the B&B there are a number of hiking trails that take hikers through the green surroundings. The paths wind along, past fruit trees, centuries-old olive trees and valleys. Within a radius of approx. 15-20 km. Tucked away from the B&B are country restaurants serving delicious and honest local dishes, but interesting new, sometimes perhaps strange dishes also appear on the menu.
