Stunning conversion of an 18th century convent, Casa del Piano is located on the nicest pedestrianised street in the village, a short distance from the main square. A beautiful plant filled courtyard with a 3m x 4m plunge pool (fenced off), with two separate outdoor terraces, there's plenty of room to relax and socialise. Step back in time and enjoy the oak beams, terracotta floors and spacious sitting rooms, where you can read, play games, watch TV and catch up with family and friends.

I’m a civil servant living in London. I’m married to a doctor and have boy and girl twins aged 19. We've stayed in quite a few Airbnbs as a family and have enjoyed staying in local houses, have liked the extra space they give you and being able to cook etc. I'm now renting my own house in Jimena de la Frontera which I have taken over recently from Christine, a superhost for many years. She has lovingly restored the house and has exquisite taste. There'll be very few changes so if you've visited before, please do come back or recommend the house to your friends. It's beautiful. Our cleaner will meet you on arrival and show you around the studio. To comply with local laws, we'll ask you to present identification guests above 16 years old. La Casa del Piano is located in a quiet, traffic-free pedestrian street in the oldest part of a white traditional hill top village. Jimena is a beautiful Andalucian pueblo blanco on the edge of Los Alcornocales Natural Park. Great walks through oak forests from the door of the house. Just a stone's throw from the village square and local shops, restaurants and bards. Here you can enjoy the very best of being in a very traditional and classically beautiful 'pueblo blanco' with great views over the glorious sweep of countryside below the village, over to the Rock of Gibraltar. Getting around The house is ideally situated to provide access to Blue Flag Mediterranean beaches 20 minutes' drive away, excellent restaurants, shops and superb golf courses (Valderrama, Sotgrande etc) along the coast. You can also easily visit other pueblos blancos including Gaucin and Ronda. And you can cross the frontier into Gibraltar to visit the apes, St Michael's Cave and other sites on the top of the rock - or stock up on perfume and fish and chips in the town centre.
