From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the calm. The views from the terraces and pool area stretch out to the stunning Sierra Nevada mountains and the rooftops of Granada—breath-taking at sunrise, and magical as the sun sets. Whether you’re floating in the pool, sipping coffee on the balcony, or enjoying a BBQ under the stars, this place is designed for slowing down and reconnecting. Inside, the apartment is set up for comfort and convenience. There’s a spacious double bedroom with its own bathroom and shower, plus a large wardrobe and drawers so you can unpack and feel at home. The living area includes a comfy sofa bed, dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen—perfect for lazy breakfasts or late-night snacks. We’ve also made sure you stay connected and entertained, with free WIFI and a flat screen TV loaded with Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+. There’s central heating and air conditioning too, so you’ll always feel just right, no matter the season. Outside, the shared gardens offer plenty of space to unwind—grab a shady seat, fire up the BBQ, or dip into the pool and soak up the views. We have three friendly dogs who share the space with us. They’re part of the family and love meeting new people. If you're an animal lover, you’ll likely have a few new furry friends by the end of your stay! We also want to be upfront: the road leading to the house is unpaved and a bit bumpy. It’s perfectly manageable by car, but we recommend driving slowly and carefully, especially if you're arriving at night. For many of our guests, the peaceful location at the end of the road is more than worth it. We love spending time outdoors, going for walks, and taking care of our pool and garden areas. We enjoy meeting new people and making their holiday experience enjoyable. We also have three rescue crossbreed dogs, Arabica, Flo, and Otto who are incredibly friendly and love meeting our guests as well.

Casa Araflo is nestled among the olive groves, surrounded by olive trees, with work taking place at specific times of the year. Other Casas are scattered throughout the area. It’s 1 hour 20 minutes from Malaga Airport. The property is an 11-minute drive from the small village of Ventorros de San Jose, which has a chemist, small supermarket, butcher, bakery, a couple of banks, and bars. Loja is a 30-minute drive away, offering shops, bars, coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets, a hospital, and a weekly market. There is also a train station where you can catch a 20-minute train ride to Granada (55 minutes by car) or a 2-hour train ride to Seville. The fabulous Nevada shopping centre is 55 minutes away, and it’s 1 hour 10 minutes to the Sierra Nevada ski resort. Iznajar is 45 minutes away, and the beach areas of Torre del Mar and Malaga are about an hour’s drive. Malaga also boasts a lovely port worth visiting, with great bars and restaurants overlooking luxurious yachts.
