Bubion is a beautiful village of the Alpujarras region situated on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada range. It looks down to the valleys as far as the Mediterranean Sea and when the atmosphere is clear, as far as the Rif Mountains of Morocco. Bubion is calm, charming, beautiful and has the atmosphere on would have found few centuries ago. Peaceful retreat, Mediterranean decor, soulful, tasteful, colourful, timeless beauty, serenity. Casa Cecilia has a large terraced with spectaculars view onto the mountains, garden with fruit trees and lots of birds singing, fountains and streams…. Usual utilities, old day’s fireplaces for picturesque comfort. IMPORTANT Casa Cecilia is right at the bottom of the village, close to the church, the best preserved part of Bubion but relative physical fitness is needed. FIESTA: Sometimes in mid-August and for +/- 3 days (date to be advise by the owner close to the time) The village Fiestas are celebrates mostly on the church Plaza. Casa Cecilia being close to the plaza, the music, band, processions, fireworks etc.. Can be loud during night and day time.
