The bay of Porto Petro is one of the most beautiful natural harbors on the island. Here the water is crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling and swimming. Although there is no beach there is a pretty fishing village that retains the essence of the old seaport. In the spring there are several restaurants where you can enjoy the specialties of the area. Just north we can find the lively resort of Cala d'Or. South on the coast, halfway between Porto Petro and Cala Figuera, it is the Natural Park Mondragó: a double bay, whose extensive sandy beaches are surrounded by cliffs and dunes. In this beautiful nature reserve you can perform various hiking and cycling.
