History tells us that, in the past, this house used to have a "threshing floor" where the horse carriages and farm tools were kept. With the passing of time and the changes towards modernisation, all of this fell into disuse, and the owner of the house decided to convert it into a wine cellar, since in Pallars we are also the land of high altitude wines. But from this initial project he ended up converting it into a whole, very cosy house with views of the Montsec, where you can find the calm you need to charge yourself with positive energies.

The house has 151 m² of living space, spread over two floors plus the ground floor. Here you can leave your bicycles, suitcases, etc. On the first floor you will find a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, oven, ceramic hob and all the necessary utensils for a good stay. It has a living-dining room with a large table and chairs, a TV room with a sofa and two armchairs, and a large terrace if you want to dine outside, with a table and chairs. The floor is complemented by a service bathroom. On the first floor are the bedrooms. Three double rooms with two single beds to comfortably sleep six people, although the capacity of the house is seven. In addition, you will have two complete toilets, one in one of the bedrooms, which has a private terrace with a couple of sun loungers so that you can sunbathe in peace and privacy; and another toilet for the rest of the bedrooms to use, where you will also find another room with the washing machine, dryer and ironing board. Throughout the house there is air conditioning in every room, piped music, wifi and Firestick for the TV, where through your account you can continue watching your favourite series or films.

Vilamitjana is located in the Conca de Tremp, halfway between the river Noguera Pallaresa and the Nerets mountain range. It is on the axis of the C-1412 road, one of the most important communication routes in the western Pyrenees from the centre of Catalonia; and close to the C13, the way into the Pallars region from the Lleida plain. In the highest part of the village of Vilamitjana there is a viewpoint with panoramic views of great scenic value. The Vila-Corona vineyards, included in the Costers del Segre designation of origin, have been established in Vilamitjana for about 25 years. It is worth mentioning the charms and tourist attractions of the village of Vilamitjana. As historical-cultural elements, the wine presses and cellars in a very good state of preservation, the hermitage of Santa Llúcia and the church of the Annunciation of Santa Maria de Vilamitjana also stand out. The village has a bakery and restaurant, just a few metres from the house. In Pallars Jussà you can go hiking, mountain biking, water sports, wine tourism and geology. You can also visit castles, charming villages and a dinosaur museum.
