A bit about me, the owner – I’m passionate about health and wellness, having worked as a wellness consultant in the past. I love staying active through sports, especially padel tennis, hitting the gym, and even challenging myself by climbing some of the world’s highest peaks. As an active social worker I has also instilled in me a deep interest in social studies and research, while my previous experience as a carpenter has fueled my love for renovating and building homes. THE BEST WEATHER IN GRAN CANARIA and THE WORLD The average temperature in Gran Canaria is 18 C during the winter compared to 8 C for southern Europe and 0 C for northern Europe. The temperature is also far more stable than anywhere else: On average there is only a 7 C difference between the hottest and coldest temperatures every day. The southwest of Gran Canaria (Arguineguín) is warmer than the rest of the island with average winter temperatures of 22 C. We believe that Gran Canaria, and specifically the south and southwest coast of the island, does have the best weather in the world: In the town of Arguineguín, it’s consistently warm, sunny and calm with stable temperatures and few storms. Water Sport in the sea is here waiting for you. OUTSIDE CHRISOASIS Seaview and 4 minutes biking straight down on a newly built walk- and biking road to the central beach. Mini grocery store, 30 seconds walk, big Spar (grocery store) 3 minutes cycle path on the way down to the central beach, Ancora shopping centre/restaurants/pubs (Centro Comercial Áncora), 3 minutes by bike. Park your car outside, close to the house. ChrisOasis is close to neighbouring cities by bus (you can even bicycle). You can also take the bike to the storage below the bus. You can rent 3 bicycles from ChrisOasis or from other bicycle rental companies in Arguineguín
