My original goal was to grow old in a beautiful place in the sun, where there are summers that last longer than one week and to be in Europe close to my loved ones. After a long journey I found where I could make my vision a reality, on a hill in the countryside of Ahaurin el Grande, with a breath-taking view. I always dreamt to have a small luxury hotel and in 2009 I opened Finca Sonrisa. It has taken several years of construction and dedication to make Finca Sonrisa what it is today: luxury apartments in the countryside of Andalusia.

Finca Sonrisa stands on a hill in the Andalusian countryside near the town of Alhaurín el Grande, in the south of sunny Spain. From the Finca you have a breath-taking view of the Guadalhorce Valley. The back-garden of the Finca is the ever-green Sierra de Mijas. Within the grounds of the Finca you will find Casita Sonrisa, a commodious guest-house. Built between olive trees and rocks, in a partially landscaped natural garden. Casita Sonrisa has a private terrace, a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with a microwave/oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and a deep freezer. There are two comfortable double-rooms with king size beds, built-in closets and two completely fitted luxury bath rooms. We also have two beautiful apartments, and a lovely Studio. All our accommodations are fully equipped and have their own terraces, where you can relax with a drink and enjoy the view. Casita Sonrisa, the apartments, and the Studio are equipped to the highest standards to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay while enjoying the hospitality and scenery of Andalusia.

Finca Sonrisa Apartments is the perfect base for a Golf weekend or Golf holiday in Andalusia. The nickname of the Costa del Sol is also the Costa del Golf. Because of the good weather in Andalusia, the circumstances are ideal to play golf almost through the year. There are several beautiful golf courses in the near vicinity of Finca Sonrisa, among which the Lauro Golf and the Alhaurín Golf course. Other options nearby are hiking, mountainbiking, visiting one of the many beaches nearby and of course exploring the beautiful cities of Andalusia: Finca Sonrisa is the perfect place to base yourselves for venturing out on day trips, such as the famous Alhambra in Granada, the impressive Mezquita of Cordoba and the historical attractions in Seville with the finest work of the gothic Cathedral and beautiful Santa Cruz Quarter. Of course don’t forget the glorious city of Malaga itself: have a drink at at the port next to the the sparkling blue mediterranean sea, do a bike tour and see the beautiful architecture and the Moorish Alcazaba, of visit the museums and terrific restaurants, bars and shops.
