A natural and cultural paradise in the heart of Ribeira Sacra: O Castro Art Village is a space for rural experimentation. It is a creative center that combines the arts with philosophy, critical thinking, yoga, nature, and sustainable gastronomy in order to cultivate balance between the world within and without. We are restoring an abandoned village in the Ribeira Sacra to create a multidisciplinary space for sustainable rural regeneration , serving well-being and the culture. To do this, we will offer you workshops and retreats in art and nature, yoga and meditation; hiking routes and forest baths; spaces for debate and exchange of ideas; cinema, concerts and shows… We have it all planned.

Have you ever woken up with the chirping of the birds in an untouched forest, facing the breathtaking valley of river Miño in absolute comfort? We are proud to be the first to offer you this unique experience! Our geodesic domes designed to host up to four guests are equipped with full bathroom and shower, hot water, air conditioner and the best views imaginable. During your stay our communal kitchen and eatery can meet your culinary needs. The surrounding nature, neighbouring vineyards, and various trekking routes are mesmerizing in all seasons. A ten-minute drive away there is a lovely beach where you can sunbathe on the banks of the mighty Miño or go for a swim. And last but not the least, you can always partake in our artistic activities, connect with your creative self, or make new friends!

We are located in the heart of Ribeira Sacra, a future UNESCO World Heritage, where amazing wine is produced through a traditional process called "Heroic Viticulture". We have the best views in the region and from your dome, you will be able to see the Miño River valley and vineyards. There is a beautiful river beach close by where you can swim, have a relax drink, or have lunch at a restaurant. There are numerous wineries and restaurants to enjoy, and amazing forest and vineyard walking trails to discover.
